Programmer Franz Schmid is pleased to announce the release of Scribus 1.0 – Linux Desktop Publishing. Two years in development and available in 17 languages, Scribus represents the first open source DTP application capable of generating professional »press-ready« results.

Die Palette der Feature sieht ja schon mal einladend aus.  Ist wohl ein Programm, welches ich im Hinterkopf behalten sollte. Ob es nun prof. DTP Ansprüchen genügt kann ich nicht beurteilen, hab auf prof. Ebene reichlich wenig mit solchen Dingen am Hut. Auf jeden Fall kann ich den Docs entnehmen, daß es wohl alles das bietet, was ich für ein Faltblättchen oer Ähnliches benötigen würde und mehr.
